Natural Eyelash Extensions

Yesterday I had an amazing end to my Friday when I came to Serente Spa in Uptown Park. Between meetings all week, tasks to complete and traffic the best Friday afternoon treat is defiantly a trip to the spa. This spa was the cutest little place. Right when I walked in I felt relaxed and like I was in a hidden oasis. The staff was so friendly and immediately made me feel welcomed and at ease. Serente Spa offers many different services including massages, skin treatments and even a signature 24K gold facial if you want to have the star treatment!

I started first with a 15 minute session in the oxygen inhalation station in Serente’s zero gravity chair. Let me just say can I have one of these chairs at home? I seriously would be the definition of a couch potato and probably never get up. This chair was so relaxing and immediately took away all of my stress. Next came the oxygen with the lemon tea tree infused essential oil. This was my first time doing an oxygen inhalation session and will defiantly do it again. It is 90-95% pure oxygen and can clear up any headaches, and provides an overall uplifting after use. I felt more refreshed and alert and was ready for my eyelash extensions.

Now it was time to do my eyelash extensions!! I have always wanted to have eyelash extensions because without mascara my eyelashes are normally short and not the longest I would like them. I typically use several different mascaras to get the look of length, volume and curl. Half of the time in the morning I am extremely tired and the last thing I want to do is primp and worry about my makeup. Yes, it is true 5-15 minutes extra snooze time is worth it. Brittney Heron is amazing at these eyelash extensions where she has been featured in Memphis and Southern Bride magazine before coming to Serente Spa. She walked me through the whole process while doing the lashes. What I love about Brittney’s work and the lashes here is they look natural and not clumpy over the top like you are a Vegas show girl. The lashes are natural looking synthetic mink and are carefully glued to your own eyelashes one by one. The glue is picked out by an ophthalmologist and is 100% safe for your eyes. I wear contacts and that was always a fear of mine. Based on your natural lash growth it is recommended to come in every 2-4 weeks to keep them looking full and beautiful.

I was very pleased and happy with the whole experience at Serente Spa and with my eyelash extensions by Brittney. I would highly recommend eyelash extensions if you have ever wanted to try them. You do not need mascara anymore and can have full, thick and curly eyelashes every morning. Now you can say “I woke up like this”
