It is officially boot season for those who have not been rocking them like I have for at least a month now. I am partial to flat riding boots without a heel so that I can wear them everyday. Every year I like to get at least one new pair of boots that I will wear throughout the season and in many years to come. I think it is important to have a pair that will last you and that are a great material and quality. A great go to would be a classic black leather riding boot like these Elaine Turner tavish boots. I purchased these 2 weeks ago after I was contemplating between some ink green boots in a more casual style or these classic black boots. I am glad I went with the black tavish ones because they are so more versatile and classy. I have not seen any like these yet that are gorgeous without being over the top. The detailing is my favorite part with the gold zipper running down the back, Elaine’s signature bamboo and not to mention the interior is all gold!!

In order to make this look festive for the holidays I have added this fun little black and gold kimono. This is the first kimono I have bought and love how this one is a little more dressy and unique than the typical floral kimonos. The lace and fringe are delicate and a great mix of girly grunge. Kimonos are so comfortable and fun just like these leggings I recently bought. I now want them in every color and they are so soft and thicker than the typical leggings.  Paired with the Elaine Turner boots this look is a great fall outfit that can go from day to night and perfect for a casual holiday party or even Thanksgiving!

Can’t wait to be with family all next week and enjoy the foodie’s favorite holiday 🙂
