Mine was a great day with my family all getting together and also celebrating my nephew who is a Christmas birthday as well. We ate, opened presents and enjoyed some wine and champagne too 😉 This was the first Christmas in a couple of years in Houston when it was not too hot. I was finally able to wear a sweater and jeans without sweating. Too bad it does not snow here and I can wear sweaters every day during the holidays. Layering is a great casual way to be warm, versatile and look polished as well. I threw this comfy cropped sweater over my denim button down. The sweater is perfect and not too hot. I tend to wear jean shirts over or under so many different items in my closet. It is so easy and functional and every girl should have several button downs in her closet at all times. Of course the final touch is adding a statement necklace! The colors in the necklace are so pretty and unique and makes any outfit pop. There are tons of great sales out there today including half of what I am wearing, so go shop away !
