Happy Wednesday friends! It is always so hard after a long holiday weekend to get back into the swing of things. I know I always have that problem and this whole week I have been thinking it is a day ahead. Well luckily we are right over the hump and soon it will be the weekend again. This time of the year right before it gets so hot and humid I like to wear longer dresses in luxe material that are a great transitional piece.

As you know I am just a little obsessed with vintage finds lately. You would have never guessed this gem was not a brand new piece. The stripes and buttons give it a preppy look, while the silk and cuffs still keep it vintage. This dress is so comfortable and stylish as well. It reminds me of a big silk pajama shirt, except I can actually wear it to work and other events. Whoever has said dresses can not be uncomfortable has never worn this one before. To give this look an even dressier side I paired it with some simple nude wedges and kept my other accessories neutral as well. These earrings are also vintage and one of my other favorite finds from my shopping trip a couple of weeks ago. Talk about statement earrings! I love the intricate detail, how big they are, and that they are gold of course. Vintage can be worn in so many ways and can be dressed up and modern as well. Do you have a favorite vintage piece?
