My favorite part about this time of year is shopping for everyday essentials in pretty shades of color and pattern. You can’t go wrong with pencil skirts, and for work they are the most versatile piece you can wear. I love to buy some in different textures that I can wear several times with a variety of shirts to give a completely different look. Tweed is a great all around fabric that looks polished, yet trendy as well. I have worn this skirt so many times from the winter paired with a black sweater to this fun spring look in yellow. This outfit also makes an oversized sweater look more ladylike when tucked into a pencil skirt. This is a ladylike look that I love to wear going straight from the office to a fun happy hour. It can also be paired with a V-neck and some sneakers for a completely different laid back look for the weekend. Speaking of weekend I am so glad it is Friday! I will be spending some time watching the NBA playoffs, doing some spring cleaning and participating in a 5k for March of Dimes. I hope you have a fabulous FriYay 😉
