Hello everyone it is already Monday and the weekend went by way tooo fast! I spent it with my friends catching up and also enjoyed going to a blogger lunch with the Houston ladies from the Southwest Blog Society. It was good to finally meet some of them in person and learn from each other which is so important. As it gets closer to June I am getting so excited for my trip to Charleston with some of those ladies for the Southern Blog Society conference. I am thinking bright patterned dresses and some solid shifts. This dress would be a great dress for dinner one night.

I love the look and feel of a great shift dress. When I go to work I would rather wear a dress any day then pants and a top. The shape of a great shift dress looks flattering on anyone. I found this dress when I was shopping vintage at one of my favorite stores Cheeky Vintage and had to have it. The structured lines at the top give it an unexpected look and the high neck can be worn throughout the colder months with a jacket as well. You can’t forget about the shoe everyone is wearing right now the espadrille. I have had these wedge espadrilles for a long time and love the fun summer feel. The wedge and criss cross leather are two combinations that I am loving!
