July 4th Entertaining

Who all is ready for the Fourth of July weekend? I am so excited and have Friday off too which is even better! It came way too fast and I feel like this summer is just flying by, and there is still so much I want to do. This is one of my favorite holidays and just spending time outside with friends and family really makes the holiday weekend. Ever since I was younger celebrating this holiday always consisted of grilling out, pool time/lake, fireworks and fun cold drinks/desserts. Of course also getting to dress up in red, white and blue and celebrate America as well. Just enjoying the weather and enjoying a nice American afternoon is my favorite part. These items are all my favorite necessities for a fun filled day of entertaining.

Watermelon Slice Pool Float:  This float is so fun! I have  seen so many and really am obsessed with the swan, flamingo and donut but this one just screams a Fourth of July get together. Paired with some fresh watermelon to eat, you would have a great fun afternoon with this!
USA Cheese Board:  A party is not complete without a cheese board. This is by far my favorite food and is a necessity at a party. I like to add crackers and a drizzle of honey on top as well. This board is the definition of an American party!
Firecracker Popsicles:  Who doesn’t want a cold treat when it is 100 degrees outside. Not only does this popsicle look extra patriotic and yummy, but you can easily make this fresh fruit recipe in 10 minutes.
Limited Edition Bubbly:  Cheers! If the fireworks are popping you might as well pop some champagne as well!  This is my favorite drink for just about any occasion to celebrate and the stripes on the bottle are so patriotic. Not to mention it is a mini bottle at 787 mL, way too perfect for this occasion.
Star Tiered Stand: This stand can be used to display so many different items including ice cream and toppings, hamburger buns, hot dogs or some fireworks as well. I always like to have some sort of station set up at an event. This displays an otherwise simple item and puts it all by itself and will make the guests want to come check it out. Some good ideas would be to have some old fashioned cocoa cola bottles and straws displayed or a bubble station or fireworks for a fun event!
July 4th Napkins:  Having fun napkins is one of my little added touches that I always have at a party. Sometimes I hate to use them because they are too cute. I like to keep the cups and plates more of a neutral but then have fun with napkins! These keep to the July 4th roots and come in 20 per pack. If you do like a design as much as me you can even frame it and no one would ever know 😉

These are a few essential tips for having a great Fourth of July weekend. Of course if you don’t have great people and music around then it might be a lame party haha but these will help you out. Don’t stress when planning a get together it can be very easy and casual but still unique with the added touches like the custom stations. I hope it stays dry this weekend and party on!
