Summer Beauty with it Cosmetics

If you haven’t noticed already it is the prime of summer and the heat and humidity are in full force. This is always a struggle month makeup wise for me because I feel like I sweat everything off. I have always had oily and breakout prone skin but luckily as I have gotten older it has become a little less chaotic. Adding a layer of makeup on top of my skin when it is so hot outside just does not sound amazing, yet I still want to try to maintain a natural coverage face. I tried it Cosmetics and really like their ingredients and anti aging benefits with the coverage and color I want. It is also a great line for tackling my summer makeup needs too!

When it comes to makeup I don’t get too fancy for everyday wear, but on the weekends will add a pop of a bright color lip or a smokey eye. My day to day is really all about a light coverage that will give me a glow, while not looking greasy. The one product I always have struggled with is finding the right base. In the summer my number 1 makeup concern is it melting down my face. I tried this primer before I put on my makeup and loved the smooth finish and easy application that it provided. This little CC cream is seriously the best. I had always heard of BB and CC cream but had never tried them. Not only is it color correcting full coverage cream, but has an SPF of 50+ as well. It is also hydrating and actually helps improve skin texture. This is a great product that I quickly sweep over my face with one of their heavenly luxe complexion brushes which is amazing. I think it is always good to have nice brushes, and this brush tops it off and on one end is a concealer brush too!

I always like a hint of blush on the apples of my cheeks. Even though I could easily get that walking from my car into work on my lunch hour because of the heat. In these summer months when I want to keep my makeup still a little dewy and not completely melt off I opt for a cream blush instead of a powder blush. It glides on a lot better and I tend to like it more since the CC cream is already cream based as well. Here I honestly just applied with my fingers since it is a cream, but you can also use the same foundation brush that I used to blend my CC cream as well.

Then when I have my face makeup set I want to add just a little finishing powder because I know in like an hour I might look shiny. This bye bye pores pressed powder works like a charm. I did not use the little sponge it came with but instead swept it all over my face by using a big brush that I like. This finished my base without looking cakey and not too oily either.

Last is my favorite part which is the eyes. In the summer time between laying out, being outside and trying to look fresh and effortless I only put mascara on. I have gone through so many different mascaras almost as much as foundation. I don’t have the longest or curliest lashes so in the past I have found myself using different ones to give me the same effect. This mascara provides all of my needs and has lash enhancing and conditioning ingredients. The best part is the grip on the wand and how easy it is to hold.

These products are sure to last me throughout my whole summer and then some. I love how every product in this line has some sort of anti aging products included in the ingredients, all while the same time providing the coverage and feel that you want!
