Hello lovelies did everyone have a good weekend? I was very busy this weekend with lots of fun things on the agenda. On Saturday I went to lake Conroe with my coworker and her friends and had a blast. I needed to be out in the sun and it was an absolutely perfect weekend for that. I love going out on the boat and hadn’t been all summer. I grew up with boats so getting to enjoy it in the summer time is always so fun. I also went to White Linen Night in the Heights on Saturday night which is always such a blast. Finally yesterday my mom came out to my area for the day. We went to church, had brunch at this new little cute French restaurant called Flo Paris and shopped all while wearing shades of denim.

My mom always takes my pics for me and we always have so much fun when we are doing it. It normally involves us tripping over something in the process which happened yesterday, if only we could get the blooper pics too! I wore this denim on denim outfit yesterday when we were out and about. There is something so classic about a button down and flared jeans that I love and especially since it looks so vintage and retro to me. This lighter denim shirt has been on repeat ever since I got it, and it literally goes with everything. In the fall I would pair this with a big fur vest and scarf for a more cooler weather look. Flared jeans are so in right now and I like how there is more room to move and they look amazing when paired with high heels. I love how they instantly make you look taller and give such a good shape too! I think the same color schemes and fabrics together look so crisp. Between white on white or shades of denim like this it can all look good if you give it a try!
