A Little Suede

Suede is probably my favorite trend for the season. It screams fall and is such a classic fabric that looks great in basically all climates. I wore this look when we visited wineries in Napa and it was my favorite outfit of the trip. I knew I wanted to get something suede and couldn’t figure out if I wanted a skirt or a shift dress in this great material. After trying several different styles on I came across this skirt and knew that it would be able to go with so many different options. I always buy dresses I feel like instead of skirts, so knew this would come in handy in my closet. It certainly has and I have been wearing it so much including this trip.

I wanted to go with a little bit of a southwest look for wine tasting around the gorgeous wine country. One thing I had planned for was layers because it would be chilly in Napa in the morning and nights, but was warm during the days. My go to jean vest was perfect for throwing on, yet light enough when the sun was shining. It wouldn’t be a great fall outfit unless there were some great booties to complete the outfit. These suede booties have been my favorite pair because they go with everything, are inexpensive and are not too tall. There are so many more suede pieces on my wish list. This suede fringe tank and this suede fringed long jacket I am obsessed with. They will just have to go on my birthday wish list which is next Friday!
