Today I am dressing up in a fun 70’s look. This look is retro, and the perfect outfit for my birthday post today! Today I am officially 26. It seems like I just had my 25th birthday party which was all sequins and black and white stripes. I am always a party planner and love to have an outfit to go with it. This year it is a little more calm, but still just as fun with cocktails out in downtown at some cute little places with my friends. I love going to little drink places that are decorated so ornate that it takes you back to an area where you forget that you are even in Houston. I googled some fun places and will have to tell you which ones we end up going to!

Bell bottoms or flared jeans as most of you probably like to call them are majorly back in style. The 70’s look is one that is so effortless and laid back which I love. The longer the jeans and the higher the shoe the better. Not to mention the flared jeans are so comfy. When you are having a day where you don’t feel the skinniest you can throw these on and no one will ever know. This hat and vest just make the outfit so much fun. I love colored fur this fall and this patchwork faux fur coat is to die for! It just makes the 70’s look so much more updated when all of these fun colors and of course floppy hats. I love my suede hat and have been wearing it since I got it last year. Hats are on my radar this season and next on my list is this light camel floppy hat and this burgundy panama hat. A girl can never have too many hats in her closet and especially fun ones this time of year! Hope everyone has a great weekend, cheers for now, I think it is time for me to go blow out some candles!
