Happy weekend everyone! What are all of your plans this upcoming weekend? After being in Chicago all last weekend I am taking this weekend to un-wind and relax. I already got a massage on Thursday which was much needed! When I was in Chicago last weekend like I mentioned in this post the weather was so perfect. It was in the high 60’s which I can’t wait for this Houston weather to get down to. Lately I have been craving the fall weather so bad. It is funny how it seems like we anticipate the next season so fast and then when it comes we are already looking forward to the next season. All I know is I am pretty excited about football starting back up and bringing out my leather jackets. I was able to drape this jacket over my outfits last weekend and I was so glad that I was finally able to wear it other times than just December and January here in Houston. What I love about this outfit is how it brings in basic pieces with a mix of a little grunge. It is all about the embellishments with this outfit.

I have been loving embellishments lately and have been seeing them everywhere from shoes to bags. Pearls and studs on pieces are my favorite though. I first spotted them on these pearl slides and have been wanting everything with embellishments on them ever since. I like how you can go from an otherwise simple outfit and amp it up with some fun little accessories. I don’t think this trend will be going away anytime soon and would love to see embellishments on blush or metallic velvet mules in the winter time too. Speaking of metallic how fun is this cross body from the new Kendall + Kylie Collection at Charming Charlie. I am pretty much obsessed and had been wanting a silver metallic bag for a while now. This will get so much good use all throughout the fall and winter as well. Now gotta think of what other embellishments I need to buy to keep this trend going. Hope you all have a great weekend.
