My favorite ladylike fabric has got to be lace. Whenever I have worn this I have immediately felt very girly which I love. Lace has always reminded me of the South as my grandma had worn an all lace look. As you can see from this lace jumpsuit I like this fabric. There is something so classic about black and white paired together, and when they both combine lace it makes it 10 times better. Classics in these colors is something that you can never go wrong with. I personally have about a million black and white pieces that can go with so many items. When I spotted this  Alice & Olivia lace top and shorts at Monkees they were such a fun elegant look to me. I have owned several lace tops but none that had a bow as well. I mean come on who isn’t swooned immediately to a velvet bow on a lace girly top.

An elegant lace set is one that can take you to a nice event paired with some heels like I did here, or even tights in the winter. I love a little dressy look like this that is so girly. I would mix and match this set and also pair these shorts with a big chunky sweater or this top with skinny jeans. Lace was all around this weekend when I was in Oxford for the Ole Miss vs Alabama football game. This was so much fun and the Grove took tailgating to a whole new level. The outfits and tents were so dressy and insane. It was so much fun and just people watching in general. There was definitely a lot of lace and girly looks. Hope everyone had a good weekend.
