I hope everyone survived Thanksgiving yesterday with their family and friends and got to eat a lot of good food. This year it was a little different for our family as it was just myself and my parents. My brother and his family will be coming over tomorrow so we will be celebrating it then. Yesterday we hung around the house together, went to Cracker Barrel, and went to the movies. It was a chill day/night and that is exactly what I like about being with my family. My mom and I always have our ritual every time I come to their house is that we hang out and watch TV together in my bed. It is our girl bonding time and most recently that has been binge watching Gilmore Girls. I am so excited to watch the new revival episodes, but need to get caught up on all of the seasons first. I never watched it when it was live on TV, but now since it has been on Netflix it has become my favorite show of course after This is Us.

During this time of year I like to stock up on sweaters and more importantly some sweater dresses like this above. I have worn this with my knee high boots in the winter and it has still been a staple in my closet. I think comfort is key during this time of year and especially when you will be running errands or attending holiday shin dings all of the time now. After all it is exactly a month away from Christmas which is so hard to believe. This is the first time that as of right now I have all of my Christmas shopping complete except for one person which is my nephew. His birthday is also on Christmas so I always make sure to make the day extra special for him, and 18 year old boys can be really hard to shop for. I think what got me motivated was of course all of the Black Friday sales that are happening. I spent a lot of time yesterday going through my family members and crossing their name off of the list after I would see the amazing deals going on. I might have got a lot more than I thought I would, but during this time of year I just love it so much!
