City Vibes

Good morning everyone and how was your weekend??? Yesterday was my 28th birthday and I spent it all weekend celebrating with my friends and family. We went to this new restaurant called A’Bouzy on Friday night and then spent it at Kirby Ice House with my friends during the day on Saturday. Yesterday I took the day off and treated myself to a much needed “me” day. I went for the first time to the Houstonian and got a massage, which was pretty amazing. If you haven’t been there you need to go and experience everything that the place has to offer. It was such a great weekend and now I have to get back in the mind set of getting into the swing of things. As you know I work downtown and lately all I have been wanting to do is stay down in that area because there is so much to offer. I have been trying new restaurants and bars that have been popping up there all of the time and really feeling the city vibes. A lot has changed about this city since I wrote my Houston travel guide. One thing when I am exploring the city on the weekends or grabbing a drink for happy hour after work that I like to be is cute and comfortable.

These wide leg pants are the perfect solution for that outfit look that I am trying to achieve. I have always been a fan of statement pants whether they are floral or stripes, but wide leg pants are something that I have not tried. These are pants that are super trendy right now that I have been seeing everywhere. Besides the fact that they are comfortable, they also can go with so much and you can mix and match them. I love the deep burgundy color of these that is also super trendy right now. I will be sharing my bag under $16 soon on the blog that is also in this great shade. It will be another busy week in the city at work and then as I am preparing for my cruise with my parents that I am going on next week. We will be going to Cuba which I am so excited for.
