Hello friends and Happy Friday!! This has been a crazy week with work and just lots of fun activities as I am getting prepared for vacation in a couple of weeks and have had lots of events. On Tuesday I went ice skating which was nice to do in the summer since it has been so hot lately. I had to do ice skating and then end it with ice cream because it has been so hot lately. That is one of my favorite foods for the summer and if I could stroll around and eat it every day I would. Then of course who knows if my clothes would then even fit anymore, but I guess that is the magic of wearing items like this shirt dress!

I have now worn this little dress several times after I first wore it in Charleston. As you can see from this cocktail floral dress and this printed maxi that dresses were something that I packed on this trip. I was drawn to this dress while getting all of my shopping done at H&M because of how classic and preppy it looks. When I was looking for styles to bring to Charleston I knew that I wanted them to be fun and trendy, but also classic pieces like I wore here. The town is so preppy and Southern that a classic shirt dress felt like the perfect outfit to wear. This dress has been great for a Saturday or Sunday brunch and you can add some color to it with a fun handbag or shoes. It is also a great cut and length for possibly having dinner with your significant others family as I have done. It went so well with these heels too that I seriously have not even taken them off since I got them. I feel like I might be wearing this dress again this weekend as I enjoy some drinks with some of my girl friends. I will be out and about this weekend so follow along on snapchat and maybe I might even buy some more of these little dresses!
