It is Monday already, where did the weekend go?!! It went by extremely fast even though I did a lot like go see my friend in Galveston and then hung out with friends. Of course I also watched the Superbowl too! I don’t know why after all of these years they don’t just change it and put it on a Saturday night instead of Sunday. That would make everyone so much more happier instead of waking up and going to work the next day. If you did take off of work today then I applaud you, but if you didn’t you are probably wearing something that is no fuss and pretty casual. I don’t know about you, but my office is freezing at this time of year. They have the a/c blasting it seems like, so I am always wanting my oversized coat with me. This look I have worn several times to the office and it is a great casual look, but can be dressed up with heels as well.

I am glad culottes have made their comeback because seriously these are the most comfortable things around. As some of my coworkers ask “are those pants, shorts or a skirt?” I normally reply “all three”. This is a look that you can move around and still be comfy in, yet it is more dressy than just wearing jeans. I tend to only wear heels maybe once a week to work because even flats all day long sometimes hurt, so I can only imagine what heels all day would be like. Another fun fashion trend right now is the metallics. A great way to incorporate this into your wardrobe is through some fun flats in this shade. These flats are actually really comfortable and on the weekends I like to wear them with my boyfriend jeans and a chunky sweater. With a big suede coat thrown over it turns into a great comfy oversized look that works well for the day after Superbowl!
