Good morning pretties! How was everyone’s weekend?? I went out for the first time in a while in Houston with my friends where we had a nice dinner and then got some wine and heard some live music at our favorite Local Pour. Saturday and Sunday were spent relaxing by the pool, watching movies, going to church and buying everything that is included in this post. One of the areas that I have been going to more and more is the East Downtown area. A couple of years ago when Emily (roomie, BFF) and I were looking at places to live we had looked at this area. Back then it was not near what it is now with all of the great places to eat and drink like Toot Suite and 8th Wonder Brewery. My favorite part about this area of course is the many great walls to shoot at. As you can see from this post and this post it has become my new favorite spot. Before Astros games or going out we have been coming down to this area to explore and also to try new places which I am loving.

Another thing I am loving are items that I can wear that take me from summer to fall. This pleated dress is one that I have been obsessed with since I got it. It is such a pretty fun color that makes a statement, while still being so classy and fun. I wore it also to one of my friends wedding a couple of weeks ago and it was a hit. I could see me wearing it with my booties and a leather bomber jacket for the fall too. I don’t know about you but I am kinda ready for it to be the fall already. I mean I love the summer and the clothes and just being by the pool, but holy cow I am ready for it to be a little cooler out. Also ready for some fall styling and mixing up my bar cart which I always love doing for the different seasons as well.
