Good morning, for some of you summer has already come to an end with the start of school either for yourself or for others in your life. With Labor Day weekend happening next weekend I think that means that it is officially close to the end of summer. As you can see from my back to school essentials fall is a great time to stock up on your favorite desk accessories, update your wardrobe and add other fun knick knacks for yourself or your home. This time can be bitter sweet as you look back on all of your fun summer activities you did, but at the same time you are kinda relieved because that means it will finally be getting cooler out. As I have looked back on my summer and what I did it seemed like I was doing something constantly. I got to go to some fun weddings, traveled to Charleston and Chicago and have had several mini vacation dates around the city. It has gone by extremely fast, but one of my favorite things to do was just explore around and indulge in some of my favorite food and/or sweets this summer. Between going to several baseball games as well as soccer games, cotton candy was just a fun treat that I had to indulge in. I personally think this is the cutest sweet and honestly don’t eat too much of it, but love to use it at parties as you can from my spring bridal shower and 25th birthday cocktail party I hosted.  This is a great way to end the summer on a sweet note.

When I took these photos I was hanging with my mom about to go shopping and of course spotted a fun wall and thought yep this would make for a great photo. We had done a little craft workshop and then was treated with cotton candy at the end. I of course wore my go to black casual tank dress but thought I would update it a little with a modern as well as a vintage feel. Belts or scarves are a great way to update an otherwise basic look by adding just a little fun vibe. When I saw this vintage belt I knew I would be able to wear it with so many great outfits. This is a pretty normal weekend look for me. I think it is so fun to just have time with your mom and hang out for a weekend. Times like these always go by so fast and as I have gotten older I truly cherish these moments. Hope everyone has a great day!
