It is my favorite time of year right now. The leaves are turning, pumpkins are everywhere, the colors are rich and the weather is finally starting to feel nice. One thing I like to do at this time of year is add a little seasonal decor to my apartment before it gets overwhelmed with all things red, green and sparkly at Christmas. I am not one of those crazy decorators during the holidays though, because to be honest I think it can look a little junky if it is too decorated. I do like to add a little pumpkin here and there. For me it is more of incorporating a little fur, more metallic details and just more rich colors with a few holiday inspirations.
Recently I have been trying to add pieces to my bar cart to give it a little fall update. For my birthday I got these copper moscow mule mugs that I am obsessed with. Now I just need to make some fun drinks! I have also been putting white pumpkins around. I have this porcelain white pumpkin on a silver tray on my coffee table and another one in gold on top of a stack of books on my entry table. Another easy way to add a little festive flair is to change out your kitchen dish towels to a different color or pattern for the holidays. I always love funny sayings on items and towels are even better like this candy is dandy one. Of course no house would be complete without a candle that smells amazing. I love these candles and this pumpkin chai scent one makes me want to go out and buy a million for my apartment. You can never have too many candles, it is just not possible.
