Happy Monday everyone! How was your weekend? I spent mine with friends going to my favorite restaurant Tiny Boxwoods, watching football, and going to the Zac Brown Band concert. If you followed along on snapchat and instastories you know that it was a great concert. It is finally getting to be lower temperatures and by lower I mean in the high 80’s. Hey, I will take it though for Houston. As you know fall is one of my favorite seasons and I am going to try to go to the Woodlands again this weekend to see Luke Bryan and Brett Eldredge in concert. There is something so fun about sitting on the lawn when it is not 100 degrees out with a cold beer and listening to country music. What I am most excited about for fall other than watching football and my birthday in 3 weeks, is getting some new fall wardrobe essentials. Over the past couple of weeks I have been picking up some fall pieces in neutrals because it is something I always love to stock up on. Shopping for new booties are also one of my favorites and these leopard ones are so fun.

When I buy something that is a neutral I don’t feel as bad about it. Even though these booties are bold and loud, I still feel like leopard print is for sure a neutral in my opinion. I mean I do wear my leopard coat non-stop in the cooler months because it goes with everything. These booties are such great quality and I like how they have a low heel. Sometimes the cutest booties have the highest heel and then I spend the whole season being fashionable but uncomfortable. These on the other hand are the perfect combination of both fashionable, comfy, and a decent price. I have decided for this season to re-stock my favorite sweaters in neutrals like grey, black, and tan. Granted I do love statement pieces like this 2 piece floral outfit I wore recently, but neutrals can be paired with so much more. I was immediately drawn to this sweater because of the cute twist in the front. I have been seeing tops all summer with this trend and knew a basic sweater with this embellishment would be a great trend to try. I still have several sweaters on my wish list including the oversized turtlenecks. I picked up another neutral one this weekend because we all know how tempting it can be at Marshall’s when you are waiting in a super long line! What are some of your fall neutrals that you are looking forward to?
