I think my favorite 2 fabrics for fall have to be suede and leather. You can’t go wrong with either of these to make a really big fall statement. You can get both pieces in the real suede and leather like in this post or still get a faux suede and leather for an even better price and still luxe look. I have always loved my faux suede skirt because it is neutral and goes with so many pieces. I have paired it with a long coat in the winter with tall boots, and also flats and a tank in the summer. As far as leather pieces you know I love a good leather jacket. What I like about this look is that it mixes both pieces together in a warm neutral fall way. I have worn these Joie knee highs several times and can’t get enough of them. They are probably the luxe item that you can wear for a long time because they are just so classic. What I love about this outfit is that it still combines all of the suede and leather without being too dark with the dark black colors. Now don’t get me wrong I love a good dark black jacket, but when it is in the beginning of October a lighter color leather is just as nice. If you have both tans and blacks in your closet I think you can mix and match and have a whole lot of outfits just from those 2 colors. If you add a fun scarf or bright bag you have a whole new outfit.

Yesterday was my birthday and I turned 27. I mixed leather and suede in my birthday look this weekend for a little early fall look with it still being Houston weather though. It did manage to get in the lower temperatures which felt great. I spent the weekend with my friends and family and had a blast.  On Saturday night we enjoyed some great cocktails and then yesterday went to church, went to brunch, and listened to a great band outside. I honestly love birthdays and personally like to celebrate the whole weekend if not the whole week. Remember my 25th cocktail birthday party I had 😉 I got some great fall pieces that I will have to share with you all that I can’t wait to  incorporate my looks with. Also a little heads up on November 5th I will be in San Antonio at Macy’s with Vera Bradley hosting a little event talking about my fall favorites. Stay tuned for more info 🙂
