I am so excited to share my Galentines brunch that I hosted over the weekend with my girl friends! This was the cutest thing and everyone had a great time. If you have never done anything with your gals during February you need to start now. I love catching up with my favorite ladies throughout the year whether it is for Secret Santa at Christmas, or just to watch The Bachelor and eat pizza. Last year that is what we did and had more of a chill night, but this year I wanted to go all out with a little brunch. I mean what girl doesn’t like mimosas, sweets and getting dressed up?! I had a traditional brunch menu of croissants, bacon, waffles and fruit. The main attraction was all of the sweets ranging from cake balls, macaroons and cupcakes provided by Petite Sweets, Then we had marshmallows, pretzels, oreos and a fabulous cake provided by Adriana Flores . I wanted the theme to be extra girly with lots of pink, but still adding the elements of glam with the pops of gold. A stylist from Pause Events was able to come and bring in their decor and help bring my vision to life. My favorite part was the backdrop that we painted all of the X’s and O’s on. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without her as I don’t even own 12 champagne flutes myself! This turned out exactly as I had planned. An event these days has to be Instagram and Pinterest ready too and that wouldn’t have been complete without some calligraphy. Kristin Leigh Lettering & Design was able to put together the menu and a fun sign with one of my favorite song lyrics on it. This was the perfect added touch that brought the entire event together. Everyone got to put on their favorite Valentine’s attire and come over for a morning of girl time. No party is complete without party favors. I put together some fun little goody bags with heart stickers, tattoos and a fun Galentines coozie. We also had a little game to play that was a scratch off and the winner won a bottle of champagne. That type of prize is what my friends like! We had a blast and I hope I can do something like this again next year. It is so fun to get together with your girlfriends and celebrate the love and friendship that you all share.
