Geometric Feel

So you know me and getting statement tops, well throw that and red shorts together and you have a not so basic outfit. Black and white are my go to colors when I can’t find anything to wear, and 9 times out of 10 I wear either color on a regular basis. The saying “I have nothing to wear” is seriously on repeat in my head when I am going through my closet. That is when I have to pull together some pieces and make it seem like its a completely different outfit. This is where this geometric feel outfit came into place.

I admit I have a lot of random stuff in my closet and sometimes they are such statement pieces that I want to try to pair them with other pieces to give a look that I feel like I haven’t worn before. On the blog you will see a lot of times for accessories I wear like 2 sunglasses and if I have a bag it is normally a mix of a couple options. As far as tops and dresses those I tend to not put on repeat too often. I have gone through half of my closet and started with my tops and gave away maybe 1 ….. I feel like that is ok since I have at least worn it in the last year haha. As you have seen in this previous post from NYFW I did wear this top, but now can pair it with fun shorts for the summer. So I am trying to wear things more and pull them out of the closet, even if they are statement pieces. I need to remind myself to get fun pieces, but also keep it somewhat basic too! This look provides a lot of options for a mix and match for me to go through all seasons.
