I am almost in full vacation mode here. The week has been dragging and I am so ready for it to be done and for next week to happen. Since Valentine’s Day was recently I have been loving wearing all of the red and girly items.  I enjoyed staying home and wearing a fun lace look for this day. This week I have been getting ready for Cabo not only mentally, but shopping and packing as well. It is my first time to go to Cabo, but as you know I have been on lots of cruises to tropical places, so I have what to bring pretty well down.

One thing that is always a great option for trips like these are flowy shirts. A top like this can go with so many different items for a completely different look each time. I am going to bring it to wear with some cut off denim shorts and also my white skinny jeans and wedges at night. This will also be my first time staying at an all inclusive resort, so not leaving the resort or having to pay for alcohol and drinks is something that I am going to get used to. I think when you are going somewhere sunny and tropical it is all about the fun embellishments that you look for in outfit pieces. Just because this top is black, does not mean it is anything but boring. The cute tassels and embroidery are great for Cabo. When I went to Target this past weekend to find some pieces to take, the swimsuits were a hit or miss. I don’t know about you but the swimsuit trend of hardly wearing nothing is not my style. They had some really cute prints, but when I put them on it was like “nope, these are not going to work!” Instead I got a fun black crochet one-piece that I am going to wear one of the days on the trip. I never thought I would get one, but hey they are in style right now. Also, as I am getting ready for Cabo I am trying to get my poolside essentials all put into a cute beachbag.
