Dress (only $14) | Jacket | Booties (last season, similar here, here, less expensive here) | Necklace c/o | Bracelet c/o

It is almost the weekend and that means 4 more days until I leave for my cruise!! I still need to shop a little more and run some more errands before I can be good to go. It is always hard to shop for warm weather clothes when all I see is plaid, leather, and lots of fur and every bit of it I want to buy. The plaid has been very hot all over the fashion scene for the last couple of years and I don’t think it will be going anywhere anytime soon. This plaid dress screams holiday. I don’t have too many clothes in my closet that are red so finding this holiday plaid dress was a nice refresh. Not to mention that this dress is only $14! If you have not to been to Old Navy online lately wow they have great deals going on! Shift dresses like this are so easy to throw on and can be as casual or as dressy as you want them to be. I went for a more dressed up look that could be worn for any upcoming holidays events with my favorite booties and  leather jacket.

I like how this plaid dress is so festive but all of the other accessories can be neutral and it just complements the outfit so well. As you know I love having my favorite black essentials and those are always a great pair of black booties and a leather jacket. I buy a pair of new booties and/or boots every fall and am anxious to get a new pair for this year. Can we talk about this fun necklace! Kendra Scott always outdoes herself and this necklace gives it a little edge with a whole lot of statement. I love the new gun metal and the rest of the winter collection is insane! This whole look can be worn throughout the season for parties, Thanksgiving, or the upcoming Christmas events and is the perfect holiday plaid look.

Aren’t shift dresses the best? I have a red wool shift from J.Crew that’s at least 3 years old and I always get complimented when I wear it! Great $14 steal of a find — you’ll look fab this holiday season!
