Hi everyone, today I am sharing a fun little look into our weekend in Charleston with some of the best Houston bloggers out there! All 4 of us shared a room when we went to The Blog Societies Conference in Charleston 2 weekends ago. We all have different personalities and it truly made my weekend even more fun that we all got to room together. Between me losing my room key, never finding my stuff and just being a hot mess, there were tons of laughing in our room. When we were not at the conference or just socializing in our room, we were out and about exploring this amazing city. 3 of us had been to the conference last year and all of us had been to Charleston at least once. We went to lots of fun little restaurants, shops and can’t forget about the rooftop bar Vendue which always involves having several glasses of rose!

This look was taken on the last day of the conference right before we went and had breakfast and was one of my favorite outfits! We all packed dresses for the most part while we were in Charleston. Something that was cute and girly, while being comfortable and not too hot while in this fun town is a must. A lot of my outfits were easy comfortable looks that I honestly have been living in since I got back from the conference including this dress. A great maxi dress is something that I will always turn to in the summer, no matter how many I already might own. It was great for walking around and when there was a breeze, I loved how this looked in pictures. I unfortunately packed mainly heels thinking I would be wearing them 24/7 on this cobblestone road that I forgot that this city had. Luckily these heels were great for walking around as they were a chunky heel! I am loving this trend of the 80’s and 90’s coming back without a pointy heel because honestly as clumsy as I am, it would not be a pretty sight in the summer me wearing those. The colors in this whole outfit went so well with the sunrise and just the cute little houses around. It was the perfect look for a summer day or night and I can’t wait to hopefully wear it again in Charleston soon!
