Kimonos are a fashion piece that I don’t really own. To be honest this is the only one, and I am not for sure why I have not bought more because I love this black lace one. They are just so easy to throw on over a t-shirt and go. It totally transforms an outfit into an updated laid back look. I wore this outfit in Napa on our final night when we were just walking around and had an early casual dinner. Paired with a v-neck and my go to ripped skinny jeans made this outfit anything but basic. During the days there it was pretty hot, but at night it would get chilly and this was great to throw on and go. I love classic black because it can be paired with anything and that is why this kimono stuck out to me. The gold lace all over it gives it a vintage feel. Can we talk about these tassels too!

It looks like I am going to need to get more kimonos that will be easy to layer over sweaters and long v -necks in the winter with some knee high boots. I am so looking forward to outerwear lately and just posted a picture on instagram @BNBstyling of my suede jacket and leather leggings look I wore in February to New York fashion week. There is something so sleek about black that I just love!
