Good morning everyone! Sorry I have been a little MIA over the past week. It was a crazy week as my aunt passed away and we went up to East Texas to celebrate her life. Even though the circumstances were not ideal, it was nice to be with family and just laugh and eat and be together. I miss those times where I can just cut up and be with the ones I love. During this time of year that is always my favorite thing to do is be with family and just act goofy. Speaking of goofy, I still want that game called Speak Out. It seems like the perfect game that I need to add to my gift guide. Has anyone played it before?? Being in East Texas is always so memorable not only because all of my family lives there, but I went to college up in Nacogdoches. I had to make a pit stop and eat at one of my favorite restaurants where I took pics in this laced up look.

This laced up top has easily become a favorite in my closet. I love pieces that I can wear from season to season. A top like this is no exception, as I first wore it in this music festival look back in the summer. When you can wear pieces from season to season you also save a lot of money as you can mix and match to create so many different kinds of looks. I like how a laced up look is super trendy and a little flirty as well. This look is one that I was able to wear to lunch, driving back in the car, and when I was hanging with my family. A little vest over it gives it a little more edge that I love for cold weather looks during this time of year. I have worn this vest lots of times like in this striped city look most recently. As you are shopping around town for your gifts for your family and friends, be on the lookout for some laced up styles that you can gift or wear yourself. I love this laced up hoodie that would be a great top to wear as you are exchanging gifts with your friends or perhaps wrapping presents at your house. Hope everyone enjoys their Monday and stay tuned for some great Christmas posts coming to the blog 🙂
