Happy Tuesday everyone! It is the first full week of the new year and I already feel like A. I have accomplished so much in regards to organization and B. it already seems like it is going to be a busy and fast year. If you saw last night I was a little late to send out my monthly newsletter for the end of December, but I finally did. The holidays and then getting back into the swing of things can always take a little while to adjust to. Another thing that has been taking a while to adjust to is of course this weather that we have been experiencing here in Houston. One day it is in the 20’s and then the next day it is in the high 60’s. I can’t keep up and that can be a little bit challenging on some of my outfit pieces that I put together as well. I am either bundled up or wearing pieces that are at least versatile for both types of weather. One of these pieces is this leather skirt that I absolutely adore and that I have worn lots of times, even with some big chunky sweaters too. This lace top is one of those pieces that transitions perfectly from January to February because of the pretty maroon color.

If you saw on Instagram stories on Friday when I made a Target run, I am already wanting to have a Galentines Day party with some of my favorite gal pals. I had one last year as well but it was mainly just eating pizza and watching the Bachelor. This time I bought decorations and even have some little goody bags. I will probably do a little post on this shindig. This lace top though would probably be the best thing to wear for this and of course lace is always the answer as we get closer to February. There is something so feminine and romantic about it that I just love. Stay tuned this month for some great posts on organizing throughout the year and more fun posts to come! Happy 2018
