I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving break spent with your friends and family. I am still trying to get back into the swing of things after being out for a couple of days from work last week. It is always the hardest after a vacation when you haven’t been on a schedule for the last couple of days. From completing some Christmas shopping to lounging around, I think it was a great past week. One shopping category that I have been gravitating towards lately are holiday dresses. As you saw in this holiday jumpsuit post I talk about buying these items that will last you through holiday parties or weddings this year. A girl can never have too many little black dresses in her closet. When I saw this mesh holiday dress I knew that it would look great with my favorite knee high boots or some strappy heels as well. Next week I have my company holiday party and if I dressed this up with a long jacket and pumps, it would be a perfect look. What I like about this dress is how versatile it is. You could even pair it with some sneakers or booties for an unexpected look as well.

Mesh is another fabric just like velvet, that is very popular during this season. It adds a little sexy vibe to this otherwise super girly dress. I haven’t worn a babydoll style dress in a really long time. I do love them, but sometimes they are not the most flattering cut. If we go back to the 90’s we all know that Baby Spice from the Spice Girls sure could pull off the babydoll dresses. This mesh dress though with the flower print gives it a more sophisticated and nice look. The floral print gives it a kind of retro feel that I love. Not to mention that this dress is on sale for under $20, which is a huge steal. It would be a great piece to wear all season long and throughout the Spring time as well. All you need is your leather jacket now and your boots to put this look together!
