Mother’s Day is less than a month away and it is time to start thinking how you can tell your favorite lady thanks after all of these years. My mom and I are extremely close and have a morning phone call session every day on my way to work. We text about funny things and she always knows what is going on and will give me her honest opinion. We will talk and half of the time I can read her mind and know exactly what is going to come out of her mouth. She is my best friend and having a mom like her is extremely special to me. Mother’s Day is yes a Hallmark holiday but one that I really like. It comes at a time when the flowers are blooming, the sun is shining, and the weather is not too hot. Any day to show my mom that she is the best and to make it her day is a great day in my opinion.

Trying to find a gift to shower your mom can sometimes be difficult. A lot of the items that I like my mom does too which is nice. Both of our tastes have worn off on each other throughout the years. I think this holiday is more than just a great card, even though my mom has made me such an emotional card giver. We both love jewelry, pretty accessories and amazing candles. A gift that fits your mom’s personality and that comes from your heart is ultimately the best gift that she will love. I love pearls and dainty jewelry and think this pearl necklace is a great fit. For me when shopping for a Mother’s Day gift I think it is more fun than a hassle. As I have grown older I try to really think of a gift that means something and that would be useful and that she wouldn’t buy herself.
