Today is the day that all of you have probably been excited for and that is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is finally open up to those non-card holders. Within the past year and since there has been so much hype about this sale, I feel like most people have gone out and got the card and were able to score some great deals before everyone else. If you think about it is a whole week before the public and you could see what was on the top of my list for that early access in this post. There is not any other sale out there that has this great of deals with this great of selection and sizes. Don’t get discouraged if you were not one of the first ones to shop this deal being a card member. I am not one and have waited until today to buy all of my items, but they had already been in my shopping cart for a week 🙂 All of these items above were the essentials I bought today and feel like I am going to still be buying quite a lot more.

For me this sale is a time to stock up on items that are classics that go with everything. I prefer with this sale to get more staple pieces in solid colors that I can mix and match with here in the summer and then in the fall. Items like these leggings are something that you will wear constantly even if it is just lounging around on the weekend and are great items for this sale. I feel like I can never have too many leggings and I am very particular about mine and like them to be good material. It is also a great time to get a couple of basics like some new outerwear and some boots. The sale for these items are something that I feel like are always worth it. A great boot that is under $100 is always a steal in my opinion and these are some of my favorites.  Also another great tip is to get some items that typically are not on sale like your favorite beauty products including this Anastasia Brow Kit I just ordered that I have been dying to try. Other great items are sweaters, turtlenecks and a great trench coat that you can wear year after year. I hope you enjoy my picks that I bought!
