Off the Shoulder Gingham

How is everyone’s week going so far?? We are that much closer to the holiday weekend which I can’t wait for. It seems like it was just Memorial Day weekend where I was a bridesmaid in my friend Cassie’s wedding and then heading to the lake. This weekend my nephew will be having his graduation party and besides that I don’t know what I will be doing. I am still wishing I was back in Charleston with my mom going through the city and not even caring that we had already walked about 7 miles. It is one of those things that when I get back from a vacation I feel like I need a vacation from the vacation. Is anyone else like that?? Before I had gone to Charleston I went and got a few items that I could bring and wear throughout the season. Of course I gravitated towards gingham. As you saw in this post you know I have loved this print. Most of you have seen everyone wearing it lately and I don’t think it will be going away anytime soon.
When I spotted this off the shoulder gingham top I knew that I had to have it. Honestly I bought it without trying it on, which I tend to do a lot these days. I honestly hate trying on clothes in a dressing room and would much rather buy online anyway. I had seen bustier tops like this a lot lately and had been wanting to get one my self. It fits true to size and is so flattering. I like how the sleeves have the ruffles which gives it that girly silhouette. This top would be great for a date night or a fun girls night out. The pattern is so classic and would also make for a cute Memorial Day outfit or July 4th look as well. You can’t go wrong with a classic red, white, and blue look. What are some of your favorite gingham pieces?
