Top: Flora Mia | Skirt: Flora Mia | Necklace: Brenda Grands Design When the temperatures rise all I want to do is put on a simple tank and shorts and call it a day. That was until I tried on my first skirt with a high slit. I have seen this look all over the red carpet with formal gowns and never thought about a casual piece having this feature. This is such a nice embellishment to have in a fun skirt. I paired this simple look with a basic white tank because you can never go wrong with one of these and should always have them on hand. As far as the jewelry I kept it simple with a long handmade necklace with a spear head that adds a pop of color.
Even though this week was a short week I have been sooo sooo busy! I am ready for a weekend where nothing is really planned and I can do what I want. I am going out to dinner tonight for Indian food here which should be good and then if it doesn’t rain tomorrow will ride some bikes and do some exploring!
