It is finally Friday!!!! This week seriously went by sooo fast for me. I don’t know if it was because I had a lot going on or what, but that is never a bad thing. I had a busy week getting back into the swing of things as I had been in Chicago the week before and got to spend some time with my boyfriend getting outside having a picnic and riding bikes. Seriously my legs were burning from riding the bikes through Buffalo Bayou. That is a sure sign that I need to get back on the BBG workout, oops! During the week lately is when we have been having date nights and try to have at least one date night where we go out somewhere. The weekends the last couple of months as you know have been crazy with weddings as I wrote in this fun post, so during the week days is essential for a fun night out. I love to go explore Houston whether that is going to a park, or my favorite which is trying great new restaurants. Of course there is always going to my favorite place, Tiny Boxwoods like where I went last night with my blogger gals. Nights like this you need a fun outfit, and I have been loving all things lace lately like this  dress.

Dresses like I have said before are so easy for date night and when the temperatures are as hot as they have been lately, there is really nothing else to even think about trying to wear. An easy dress to throw on and go and that you can pair with some fun wedges is what I love. As you can see from here and here dresses are something that have been on repeat in my wardrobe lately. Every girl also needs a little bit of pink in her closet. I don’t have much but who wouldn’t look great in this lace dress! I mean the fun bell sleeves and criss cross back are what drew me in. I have worn this now to the last 2 rehearsal dinners I have gone to and it is a staple to have in your closet. Not to mention that today is national pink day. I feel like there is a national holiday now almost every day for something. I am a fan of the food national days like national ice cream day which sounds really good right now! This Kate Spade bag has been so fun to carry around this summer and it is on sale. Speaking of sales if you haven’t heard the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale will be fast approaching in the next couple of weeks. This is by far the best sale of the year and personally a good time to stock up on Christmas gifts. July 14-21st is early access if you have a Nordstrom debit and credit card, and then July 22-August 7th opened up to the public. Stay tuned for some great picks and updates on this great sale.
