Hi everyone, it is back to the work grind today. Yesterday my mom and I got back from our fun mother/daughter trip to Charleston. If you followed along on social media you can see that we had a blast. Between laughing at each other for funny things, eating some great Southern food, getting bit by lots of mosquitos and other stuff, and walking many miles everyday it was a blast! We didn’t really have an agenda which was nice, just a few must sees that we wanted to visit. It was my mom’s first time and my third time to this charming little city. We stayed downtown in the historic district which was close to everything, but we still averaged walking about 7 miles each day. I will be doing a full travel guide of Charleston soon with all of our must eat and see places. One of these was going to walk by Rainbow Row. Of course this is more for a fun photo opportunity let’s be honest. We did enjoy looking at all of the historic houses and since these have so much color and personality to them, you wouldn’t have to pay me much to pack up all of my belongings and move to this charming town.

Charleston is such a cute city with so much color and charm. We did see Patricia’s house on Southern Charm too because well duh I love that show. This look was taken on our last day when we were exploring and I think the outfit fit so well with the city. Bright rainbow pants for Rainbow Row sounds like a match to me. I got so many compliments on these fun pants everywhere we went when I wore them. The best part about them is they literally feel like pajama pants. There was no adjusting them like I typically have to worry about with other pants, and I could keep the rest of my accessories pretty easy and neutral as well. Since we were doing a lot of walking I have to tell you I was able to pack the most comfortable shoes! These came from Emu Australia and they are about as comfortable as their boots are in the winter. I have been picking up mules and slides a lot lately and they were the shoe of choice for this trip as you will see. What I love about these though is you can be a little more dressy with the wedge and the cut outs on the side, without losing the comfort you get out of the cushioned sole. These went with a lot of my outfits and for good reason. I loved coming to Charleston during this time of year because it had not gotten too hot and the flowers were blooming so pretty. I hope you all have a gorgeous day and let me know if you have any questions you want answered for my Charleston post.
