Happy Tuesday! I am so excited that it is almost October. If you are anything like me though you are probably thinking where in the heck did the month of September go?? Lately I have been relaxing with friends on the weekends and catching up on things I have been putting off for a while, but am excited to get into October. As you know it is my favorite month because of Halloween, my birthday, and my parents and I are taking a cruise to Cuba! I can’t wait for this fun little adventure we have ahead of us. In the meantime though I have not even thought about what I am going to be packing for that trip, but instead have been buying everything fall lately. If you saw on instagram this past weekend you know that I was actually supposed to be doing good and returning work clothes that ended up not fitting, but we all know that turned into getting lots of new sweaters. In addition to sweaters during this time of year I also like to get clothes in fall fabrics like this tweed skirt and these leopard cow hide booties. Once I buy fall items like these, then I am 100% ready for the new season change. If you are like me then that means stocking up on some sweaters that can last you all season long. When I spotted this red bow sweater I knew that I had to try it on because of the fun bows all down the sleeves. If you know me and also saw my try on session on insta stories last night, then you know I am loving sweaters that have anything embellished on them.

I had to get this sweater in red because that is one color that I probably have the least amount of in my closet. It is also a hot color for fall and I have seen it on booties and on bags everywhere. It is just a classy color that you can do so much with. I thought that this would work really well into winter and can be worn all throughout December and then February of course too. A little red is a powerful color and when paired with tan neutrals works so well together. Remember my red dress I wore earlier this year? I got a lot of use with it over the couple of months I wore it, and feel like I need to be buying more in red instead of my usual black or creams. Next time I go to Nordstrom which will probably be happening sooner than later, I will try to look for more basics in this fun shade. It is all about the embellishments on sleeves right now and I am loving them. We saw them all summer long with off the shoulder and pom pom detailing, and now we are seeing them on our favorite comfy sweaters. I hope you all have a great Tuesday!
