We made it to Friday ya’ll! I don’t know about you but with July 4th right in the middle of the week, I felt very confused the whole week as to what day it really was. I hope you all had a great holiday. I ended up going downtown and watching the fireworks for Freedom over Texas in a look similar to this outfit on Tuesday. The week went by fast and I wish all Fridays would come this quick. What all do you have planned this weekend? I am going to try to have some friends over tomorrow for a little pool party, if the weather holds up. I sure hope it does because there is nothing more annoying than rain causing a great weekend to stay inside. If it does rain I will just catch up on my book club read “Into the Water” which is so good right now. Have any of y’all read it? One thing that I know I will be wearing though this weekend is a little dress similar to this ruffle printed dress.

I first wore this dress to my friend’s baby shower a couple of weeks ago and it was a hit. I like how this dress is a neutral, but at the same time has a fun print on it. When it comes to dresses that are in neutral colors I don’t feel as bad if I splurge on those items. They are something that you can dress up and add different accessories to give a whole new look. I could see myself wearing this dress in the fall with a denim jacket and some little booties too. You can’t go wrong with a little neutral bag and shoes that will go with every outfit. I seriously feel like I have been wearing these mules almost every day. Between wearing them to work or on the weekends, they just go with everything. When you find a good pair you like you just want to wear them all of the time. I hope you all have a great weekend and stay tuned for some fun posts next week.
