Merry almost Christmas everyone. I can’t believe it is now less than a week away!!! What all did you do this weekend? I went to Zoo Lights and also went and shot guns and watched movies which was fun. I was off of work on Friday, which was so nice to just sit back and relax and finish wrapping all of my presents. One theme that has been pretty consistent from my wrapping paper to my outfits is shimmery metallics. I bought the Sugar Paper wrapping paper to wrap all of my gifts and have taken that same concept of metallics to my outfits as well. A little shimmer is something that makes us all think of the holidays during this time of year.  If you remember I had this sequin top that I loved wearing for fashion week and this shimmery cardigan that I wore for Christmas. You can’t go wrong with metallics during this time of year and when I was out shopping last week I spotted this outfit that I loved from Beehive.

If you haven’t heard of Beehive it is the most adorable and unique boutique that is in Austin, Ft Worth, and now finally in Houston. They have the most trendiest items like velvet chokers, pom pom heels and even some clueless inspired jackets. When I spotted these metallic pants I knew I had to have them. A little shimmer never hurt no one. I can see myself pairing these again with a chunky knit sweater for a cozy meets glam look. Or you can do what I did here and be a little more trendy and sexy with the silk top. This is a look that would be glam enough for any NYE party coming up!
