Happy St. Patricks Day everyone! What are everyone’s plans today/tonight? I will be meeting some friends tonight for some music and some green beer probably. This is always a fun holiday for me as it is so laid back and everyone wants to be Irish on this day it seems like. I always find it fun to wear green on this holiday because I normally do not except on rare occasions like with this jumpsuit. The history I was reading about this holiday was that people wore green to make themselves invisible to the leprechauns which I thought was very interesting. Hey it is an excuse for me to pull green out of my closet and rock a St. Patricks Day look though. I have been loving all things army green lately and for good reason because they can go with everything. I have a vest which I have worn before and some shirts, but I fell in love with this jacket. I like how it is not all army green, but only on the sleeves. Denim is another fabric that I have been loving lately especially since it is rodeo time here in Houston. I wore this jacket with some skinny jeans when I saw the Chainsmokers on Sunday and it was great for a day like that.
This outfit is what I would for sure call a little more edgy and great if you want to have that glam athleisure look. I find myself throwing on a casual baseball cap on the weekends because it is easy and I don’t feel like doing my hair. When worn with these super comfy pants, even though they remind me of something a Kardashian would wear, you have a great St. Patrick’s Day look. I am all about comfort and these pants do that for me. I wore them in this look when I was rooting for the Rockets and they have for sure made another appearance lately. Speaking of basketball, I jumped on the March Madness bandwagon again yesterday and am not doing well so far, but hey a great way to bond with your friends right! If only I was going to be in Vegas this weekend would make it 10 times more fun. I am looking to do a girls trip next month so any suggestions send them my way. Hope you all have a great weekend.
