The Wild Side

Hello friends, sorry I have been a little MIA lately and not posting as much. Between work that is so busy right now, weddings that I am in, and just life in general, it has been so hectic. Every weekend I have had something going on which I love, but it can be so tiring as well. This past weekend I went to Free Press Summer Festival which was very fun. Man was it hot though!! Lately I have been just wanting to relax and lay out by the pool with some of these fun summer essentials. This upcoming weekend I will be in one of my friends weddings which I am so excited for. It is at the Hyatt Lost Pines which is supposed to be gorgeous. I am also really looking forward to the dress I am wearing which is a floor length pale pink neutral dress. As you know I love neutrals and especially for the summer as you can in this post. Besides neutrals I am also loving a touch of the wild coming out on clothes. This dress would be so perfect for a day at the office with your favorite bright heels.

I also love more than just animal print on clothes right now, but instead the actual animal like on this fun dress I am wearing. When I saw this dress at H&M I knew that it would be great for this summer. It goes so well with this place of a desert I like to call Houston. When I have been going shopping all I can think of are fun little crop tops or off the shoulder dresses that won’t be too hot like in this post. Adding a blazer to this look and adding some pumps would totally take this up a notch to an updated 9-5 look. Being a little on the wild side I have loved seeing prints pop up on everything. I think the alligators give it a safari look instead of just the traditional pineapples or flamingos that I feel like are everywhere right now. I also found these lace up wedges that are military green that add an even more wild look. I can’t wait to show you other ways I have styled them!
