Valentines Day is just around the corner, it is only 15 days away in fact. Some people dread this holiday and others love it. I don’t remember the last time I have had an actual valentine on this day other than my best friend and parents, which are the perfect valentine! I still love this holiday because I am a hopeless romantic and all of the hearts, candy and roses are perfect. I typically do a girls day with my best friends complete with a dinner and drinks at our favorite place. I have done the all black attire but at other times still love rocking pink and red. Of course my favorite part is giving little treats to my favorite girls.
I also always have items picked out for a gift to treat myself to or to add to my wish list. I have been obsessed with these Rag and Bone jeans ever since I first saw them and now they are on sale! They would be paired perfectly with a sweater and this YSL handbag. OMG, I have been lusting over a YSL small handbag like this for a while. The chain is to die for and the color is great for all year.
My apartment can never have enough candles and I always have to have a seasonal scent. This Diptyque candle smells so amazing and can be used as a various holder for pens and makeup brushes after. This is just another reason to buy a new candle, and they make the perfect little gift too! For those of you who always love new stationary this heart notepad makes taking notes even better. If the stationary is cute I always want to be productive and use it more. Writing to-do lists and tasks become 10 times better.
Valentines couldn’t be complete without some new jewelry. If you haven’t checked out these Kendra Scott earrings you are missing out. The cut and color of these earrings are such a great color and stone. I love their new Avant Garden collection which has plenty of dainty pastel colors including a light rose color. A girl can never have too much jewelry or accessories.
A celebration is not complete with out some bubbly. Champagne is one of my favorite drinks and being properly chilled is important. When I throw parties I have a bucket with handles that I can fit about 3 bottles in. I have been eyeing more elegant options like this gorgeous hammered copper champagne bucket. Copper is so elegant to me and looks great in any kitchen. It brings that Southern elegance to any event.
I will be picking up some of these goodies to celebrate this upcoming holiday. This year I will be in New York on Valentine’s Day for fashion week which I am really excited about. The weather, shopping and great fashion will be the perfect day!
