It is such a fun week here in Houston! The Superbowl is here in case you didn’t know and the city has so much going on. There are concerts everywhere and lots of private events that I wish I could get in to, just to see some celebs! I will for sure be going out a couple of days this weekend to my favorite restaurants to have a few drinks. The traffic is going to be just a tad bit insane, and sometimes I wish I had a house that I could rent out and make a ton during this week. If you are lucky enough to be able to go to the Superbowl then let’s just say I am pretty jealous because that is a bucket list of mine. Even though it would be so much better if the Texans were in it, just experiencing one of the most watched items on television in person would be priceless. If you are like the other 99.9% of us, you think of this time as a great way to indulge in lots of queso and most likely some wings.

I will be going to my friend’s place for a party that I can’t wait for. When it involves watching a big game like football but you are going to be around a big group of people, you got to be casual but cute. My go to look would consist of something like this which would be skinny jeans and some comfortable booties. When I say comfortable booties I mean these are about the most comfortable shoes I own and have told you about them before. I didn’t know TOMS made booties, and I am so impressed. You will most likely be spending your Superbowl on the couch or hanging by the snacks stuffing your face. That is also why I like to wear a shirt that is just a little loose and casual. A classic button down in a gingham print is a great option for this. If you also don’t care who wins or don’t even know who is playing, it is always great to just wear clothes in a neutral color palette.  You can’t go wrong with neutrals and if it is a casual look like this you won’t freak out if you happen to spill a little something on your shirt. Overall just keeping it simple and casual is the perfect solution as all eyes will be on the TV screen anyway watching all of those amazing commercials we all love!
