Lately, it has been horrible weather in Houston with flooding and no sunshine! This past weekend I was able to see a little bit of rays while walking around near the lake with my mom. Close to my parents house is a cute little area on the lake with shops, restaurants and a fabulous scenery. I love to head over there for a glass of wine on the lake and then grab some fro-yo! A gingham top paired with shorts was the perfect outfit to cruise around on a quiet Sunday afternoon. I love to pair this with white shorts in the summer since it makes you look so much more tan too! A laid back look is always first choice on the weekend when I am dressed in business all week. I love to find cute new accessories to make an otherwise ordinary outfit pop. Lime is a great color to do this with to a black and white outfit. This necklace is so fun to wear and I always love a great statement necklace! Can we also talk about this adorable clutch from Swell Caroline. I love finding accessories in fun sayings and colors. This clutch cracks me up and is a great excuse for a happy hour of course. Who wouldn’t add tequila and salt if you were given a lime 😉 I am obsessed with the beach tote with this same saying and one with the hashtag 365daysofbeach. This clutch can be styled in so many other ways with the neutral straw. This material is so beachy and perfect for any upcoming beach trips!
