Good morning! Did everyone have a great weekend? I spent it catching up with some old college friends by going to my old college SFA’s football game at NRG stadium against Sam Houston. It is always so interesting to go back as an alum and also I feel so old! When I was planning my outfit to wear to the game I noticed I did not have any purple other than 1 stripe shirt. Even though that was our school color, I prefer my neutral colors more. There is something so classic about neutrals that go great when paired together. Lately, I have been lusting over neutrals and especially in the form of outer wear. I love this trench coat for the perfect coat to wear for these upcoming cooler months.

During the week it is always nice to wear something to work that I can keep on after if I have a special event to go to that night. Neutrals are the perfect solution to this as you can layer and continue to mix and match all of the time. This outfit I wore last week and kept on for dinner and drinks with one of my friends. A neutral blazer is so easy to just throw on and go. I also really like the long dusters this season in a vest or long sleeve like this belted coat. I still love a great pair of skinny jeans and these are fun because they are in a neutral gray instead of my normal denim or black. Mixing and matching neutrals is never a bad idea and this look that mixes tan, white, gray and black proves that.
