Woo hoo we made it thru Monday! I always get excited once it becomes Tuesday because that is one more day closer to the freaking weekend. I always say if only we had Monday off but then Tuesday would be the dreaded day we all wouldn’t look forward to. I am pretty excited for this week to come and fly by because we all know that Friday is Cinco de Mayo! Like I mentioned in this post I will be going to Nacogdoches to visit my college friends for our sorority alumni 50 year reunion. I will for sure be bringing this top to wear this weekend for all of the fun festivities. This time of year is one of my favorites because it is still spring but is about to be the kick off for summer! I have been eyeing all of the fun pool floats in the stores, but also enjoy still seeing the light and airy fabrics that are out in clothes. When I spotted this top I immediately thought it was so different and fun. The sleeves are the first thing that caught my eye. I am all about the detailing when it comes to unique clothing items whether it is lace details or fun billowy sleeves like these.

When I tried on this top I thought it seemed like the next best option for Cinco de Mayo if I don’t end up wearing my orange jumpsuit. The sleeves are so loose and give you some room, but the wrap around the top is what ties it all together. I have never worn a wrap top like this but am for sure happy that I found this, because it has now become my favorite new top. It just gives that volume and feminine appeal that would look great with just about anything. I decided to go extra girly with the pink earrings and neutral accessories. I could also see myself wearing this with a pencil skirt and some pumps for an unexpected trendy office look. Even though the top has a lot going on with the volume of the sleeves, it still adheres to your body shape with the wrap around the blouse. I love the dainty color and I hope to get more blouses like this soon!
