This is one of my favorite looks that I wore when I was in Chicago for the Blog Societies Conference a couple of weeks ago. I was all about going around the city to find some great walls to take pics in front of. Houston has some great walls as you remember from this post, but in Chicago they kick it up a notch. When I first got to the city I saw this fun flamingo wall and knew that it was too fun not to take a pic in front of. I also took pics in front of this red wall, and thought adding a pop of color was the perfect solution to my otherwise pretty neutral outfits. This flamingo wall added just the right amount of a touch of pink. I love how this look can go from summer to fall if you just change the accessories. One thing that I relied on and always try to bring when I am traveling are some cute sneakers. I am so glad within the last year there are so many options instead of just your typical running shoes. I wear these blush sneakers all of the time whether it is with a skirt or with some jeans. When you find something you like and that goes with everything, you get a lot more use out of it.

When I spotted this handbag online I thought wow this looks so unique and high designer. When I saw the price tag of under $25 then it immediately went into my shopping cart. I have been carrying this a lot more than I thought I would, and wearing blush a lot more lately too. The color is everywhere right now and I have been wearing it since February as you saw in this post. I love it because it does not seem as harsh as pink can be. I do not have very much pink in my closet at all. It is always the little pop of pink, but blush is a different story now. This color will be here throughout the year with cardigans, and I hope some fun booties as well. This dress is also one that I am looking forward to wearing in the upcoming cooler months. I can see myself throwing my leather jacket over it and wearing it with some booties. The unexpected slit is one of my favorite features about this dress. It has that laid back weekend vibe, that with the swap of some accessories can be transformed into a whole new look. Hope you all have a fun weekend!
