I am so glad that it is almost the weekend! This girl is ready for all of the Christmas festivities to begin. The weather here in Houston has kind of been all over the place so finding something to wear that you aren’t going to be burning up in by lunch time can have its challenges. Lucky for me my office is an icebox so sweaters have been on repeat, and because it is obviously the week before Christmas too. One look that is simple and that I love to wear because it is so classic is an all black outfit. I most recently wore a variation of this in my sweater dress look. Even though black is so basic you can make it so trendy with different textures. I mixed a chunky sweater with faux leather and suede for a fun look. I am also loving the look of black velvet paired with suede or leather for an black look that is anything but basic.

I have worn a variation of this outfit already twice in the past week. This is something that is fashionable and can be really comfortable if you change up the heels for some sneakers. No outfit is complete without a fun floppy hat. This is actually a piece that is perfect to gift for the holidays. If you are anything like me you find yourself gifting a ton of items for your friends and family, or you find yourself buying some for yourself.
