Casual New Years Eve Outfit

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas yesterday. We actually went to the Texans game yesterday with my dad and brother. My brother got tickets for us so it was fun to go even though we lost extremely bad. Today we will actually be doing Christmas with my brother and his family and celebrating my nephew’s 19th birthday. I love this time of year and especially the couple of days after Christmas too because it always involves family, being lazy, and most likely watching Christmas movies still. I don’t know about you but at our household we don’t take down any Christmas decorations until like January 8th. I am perfectly ok with this too. I think the longer the decorations are up the better honestly. One thing that is probably on everyone’s minds is what to do for New Years Eve?? I still don’t know what I am doing and it always sneaks up so fast. Last year we just chilled at my friend’s house and played games and it was really fun. Since it is less than a week away I will probably end up doing something super low key as well. I like this casual New Years Eve outfit because you can wear this throughout the day and night and still feel extremely comfortable in it.

Granted I love to get all dressed up for New Years Eve as you saw in this sequin dress last year, but sometimes I would rather be comfortable and chill. When I think of something comfortable the first thing that comes to my mind are some comfy pants. When I have pants on instead of a dress, I just feel 10 times more comfortable. The great thing about this casual look which makes it just glam enough for NYE is of course the faux fur jacket. As you know I love this glam material and have worn it in New York for fashion week before. What makes this jacket so fun is the ombre color throughout. The price tag is also perfect for this look as well. You can dress up anything with a little faux fur and look so glam. To keep this look casual I had to wear it with my favorite knee high boots.
